Content of the Workshop
We will solicit submissions including but not limited to the following topics:
- Interactive pattern mining and clustering
- Human-in-the-loop data mining systems
- Result visualization
- Data mining feedback options
- User preference and constraint learning
- Subjective interestingness measures
- Use cases of interactive, explainable and interpretable data mining
- Result sampling techniques
We intend to have two types of papers at the workshop: long papers of work-in-progress, and extended abstracts of published work. In addition, since actually interactive systems are a vital outcome of this kind of research, we will actively solicit demo submissions.
Invited Talks
We aim to have one or two invited speakers at the workshop. Who we select will depend on the who attends ECML PKDD.
Submission and paper format
Papers should be prepared in English and structured in accordance with the Springer LNCS requirements. Author instructions, style files, and the copyright form are all available for download here.
Work-in-progress papers can be up to 10 pages long. Already-published abstract are expected to be 2 pages long.
